Rosales singles to left to score Cabrera! 1-0 Reds. That's the first RBI of his career.

Let's send him on his way 0-12

Last time Lohse pitched against the Reds he was ejected for coming up and in to...was it Volquez or Cueto?

What's George Grande doing not calling a Redbird's series? (not that I mind...)

Volquez walks the weak hitting Izturis to begin the third inning. That ain't good. That will probably lead to a big inning.

And now a four pitch walk to Skippy. Goodness. Volquez has ZERO command tonight.

Did the TV crew make anything of renewing the "rivalry"?

They just showed some replays from when it happened... that was about it.

    Miles K's. #194 for Volquez.

Pujols homerun. That's what happens when you walk weak hitters like Izturis and Schumaker. Pujols was long overdue.

Volquez has NOTHING tonight. Hopefully Dusty will learn from this and stop pushing him up around 120+ pitches in three straight starts.

I look for Volquez to get lit up in his last three starts. You mix in an increase in innings pitched and ridiculous pitch counts and naturally it's going to eventually catch up to him.

    Volquez grounds out

    Hairston walks

Keppinger double to score Hairston, 3-2 Cards now.
