Keppinger. LOL. It's hard to have a worse night in the field than he's had.

Another solid night for Bruce as he went 2-for-4 with a double.

Hairston just hit a 3-run homer. The Reds trailed 8-1 in the 9th but have cut it to 8-6 with only one out.

The Reds need baserunners, so what does Patterson do? Swings at a 1-0 pitch at his shoulders.

Patterson K's on another pitch at his shoulders. He refused that walk.

Votto lines a single to RF to keep the game going. EdE is up now with Bruce on deck.

Votto singles and the tying run comes to the plate.

Edwin swings at a shoulder level pitch, takes a strike, and then chases another shoulder level pitch. Reds lose 8-6.

EdE shows why the Reds need to look for a third baseman. Not that he didn't get a hit, but he also swung at two shoulder high pitches in striking out.

Reds finish 3-12 against the Astros. They can play well against the Cubs, Brewers, and Cardinals but can't beat the Astros and Pirates. Go figure.
