I saw Bond yesterday. Really good action although a lot of the scenes are shot way to close. The plot was just ok, but part of it was I forgot a lot of what happened in Casino Royale.

Watched 'Hancock' last night. Interesting premise for a movie but it was really short and really didn't go anywhere. Really odd I thought.

We watched it yesterday. As you said - it's an interesting premise (different take) on the superhero persona; but I enjoyed it. I think it's worth the watch.
Ya definitely don't want to call him an A-hole.
Also watched the Killing of John Lennon. It was alright. It's not like everyone doesn't already know the characters and how it's gonna play out.
"In my day you had musicians who experimented with drugs. Now it's druggies experimenting with music" - Alfred G Clark (circa 1972)
I watched Into the Wild last night and came away really impressed. I would recommend it to pretty much anyone and feel confident that he/she would enjoy it.
I just watched an older movie, on the recommendation of a friend, that I had never seen... Jacob's Ladder w/ Tim Robbins.
Very good movie. Very riveting.

Just watched The Counterfeiters. Good flick.
Grape works as a soda. Sort of as a gum. I wonder why it doesn't work as a pie. Grape pie? There's no grape pie. - Larry David
I saw it when it was in the theater, but recently bought the blu-ray and I think that Tropic Thunder is hilarious. Robert Downey Jr. is very funny playing a character that's playing a black guy. Tom Cruise steals a lot of scenes too.
Fight Club. Awesome movie it probably would've been better if society hadn't ruined the ending of the movie for me.
OK. Here is a different take (question).
How many movies, which are considered either classics, highly successful, and major blockbusters, that you've never seen, and have finally broken down and watched?
I just watched Newman/Redford in "The Sting" this weekend. I've never seen the flick.

This isn't a movie, but I just saw a community theater production of "Little Shop Of Horrors" in Lima, Ohio, and it was outstanding. If any of you are in the area, you should check it out next weekend before it's gone.

I watched Children of Men last night. The premise was really corny (by the year 2027, humans become completely unable to reproduce), but overall, it was a pretty cool movie. If the plot bothers you for some reason, I can at least say that it was entertaining, and it kept my attention the entire time.
3:10 to Yuma. I didn't like it much at all. It's full of ridiculous plot holes and inconsistencies. For example, Christian Bale's character is missing part of his leg, and in some scenes he walks with a limp. In other scenes, he has no limp at all, and in some scenes he runs full speed without a hitch.
And why didn't Russell Crowe's character simply tell his gang to back off and let him get on the train?

Watched it the other night it was good but not as good as I expected. I did like Downey, Cruise and the special effects guy. Some pretty funny parts.
Watched The Getaway with Steve McQueen and Alli McGraw last night or the night before on HDNet, for the 1st time. I liked it quite bit. Sally Struthers was hott in that movie man, I never thought I would think that. Alli McGraw was a sharp girl too although a little too bony for my taste.
