I know it's only spring, but Homer Bailey isn't the same pitcher that many were ready to give up on a year ago....

I hope it carries over. He really could be something.

Homer Bailey throws a 1-2-3 third inning with a groundout and two K's. Nice breaking ball to K Morgan.

Homer has struggled with command in the 4th inning. He got ahead 0-1 on Sanchez and then walked him on four straight balls. He then got ahead 0-2 on McLouth, threw a 1-2 pitch that could have been strike three but was called a ball and then McLouth homered a pitch later. Doumit singles and LaRoche walks.

Homer looked great the first three innings but has been struggled with command this inning.

Maybe the long reliever role isn't a bad idea? I remember when Reitsma was a starter, he was good for about 3 innings, too

Nice K by Homer. Although, I felt the count was about two balls and six strikes by the time the ump got around to calling it.

Homer finally gets out of it...they wanted him to go 5 today, but I don't know if he will now.

Homer has four K's and seven groundouts to only one flyout through four innings.

Chris Reitsma never had the stuff that Homer Bailey has.
