I didn't think marty's reaction was that bad.

Its no secret that Edinson needs to work on his pitch counts. He has way to many 3-2 counts.

While Marty is apparantly in mid season form, I'm also trying this out as a public service announcement the first time Edinson goes to pitch 110 and the cries of PITCHER ABUSE, DUSTY HATES EDINSON, and EDINSON'S ARM IS GOING TO TEAR IN TWO-GROW A MUTANT BABY ARM THAT WILL THAN EAT HIM BECAUSE HE THREW 120 PITCHES.

Taveras left the game with a bruised left pectoral muscle after being drilled by the Votto liner.

    1 out double

That is also defensible. But I don't see going with Hairston in LF as a horrible choice at all.

Ouch! That doesn't sound good. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Marty said it wasn't anything serious.

I bet bruised pectoral was code for, it stings and I don't want to play anymore.

Foul balls coming left and right into the booth.

Amazing that Votto could be that accurate this early.
