Taveras walks to begin the third inning.

Ya know, as hard as he was slammed prior to the season starting, Willy T has looked really, really good, offensively, at least.

Tell you what, I've been pleasantly surprised by Taveras' patience and plate discipline so far this season.

To be fair though it looked like it got away from Arroyo (the Hardy HR).

I will say this about our good friend Willy T thus far this season: he's shown a decent batting eye. Whether that's an early season mirage, I don't know. Problem is in the past it's never translated to walks or on-base percentage. If he can change that, though, my opinion of him changes drastically.

Apparently, when Taveras is on 1st, he tries to steal 2nd 54% of the time. The ML average? 8%.

Fastball HR ball courtesy of Willy Taveras! Check that Hairston says it was a change up.

Distracted by Willy T, Parra grooves one to JHJ, and we gots the lead.

And Willy T gets us an extra run...

I am flabbergasted by how patient this team is this year. I mean, I've NEVER seen a Reds team, as a whole, this patient at the plate. I'm lovin' it!

Patience looks really good on them, Sir Felix. I am also loving that.
