You can't waste an AGon double like that.

OK, this Cubs victory song might make me start to take hostages.
Ugh, that's an annoying way to end a game. Oh well. Let's hope the weather improves a bit so I'm not paranoid about someone getting injured in Wrigley and that tomorrow's game is better for our guys.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Weather will be fine the rest of the week.
Actually had an enjoyable game at the Wrig tonight. Only got about 20 taunts, and was expecting a lot more. Sat with some very enjoyable Cubs fans. Very weak crowd tonight. Worried about a sweep. Our offense is non existent.
Wow that game was awful and things starting going down hill when Dickerson missed the fly ball.Wind or not that ball fell right in his glove and should have been caught.I an't saying we would have won the game but it still would have been tied.Ah maybe we can win tonight GO REDS!!!!!!!
I can spell,I just can't type!!
It was cold. We lost.
The end.
I wish Brandon would act like Edwin. Small sample size, but so far this season Brandon has made an out in 72% of his trips to the plate. Edwin has made an out in 64% of his PAs. BP nor EE are SLG very well. BP=238, EE=275. OPS BP=521, EE=640.
For thier carrers BP makes an out 70% of the time, EE makes an out 66% of the time.
BP OBP=307, SLG=421, OPS=729.
EE OBP=346, SLG=451, OPS=797.
Bottom line is Brandon makes more outs than Edwin does.
I wouldn't mind it if Janish got the start today at 2nd base. Maybe Phillips needs a few days off like Bruce
- Phillips appears to be trying WAAAYYYY to hard. He's swinging at a lot of first-pitches, even when they're practically in the dirt in front of the plate. That early patience has gone.
- Good to see Bruce get a couple of hits. It may be early to try it, but maybe it's time to put him in the 4-spot and move Phillips down then see what happens.
Wonder how many more games Dusty will keep Phillips in the clean-up spot. He's trying to be a "CLEAN-UP HITTER." He *SHOULD* be slapping singles and trying to get on base. He's not a slugger.
