Rosales has looked really bad since he came up.

He has to earn more AB's. Of course, there is no way that McDonald should ever play.

I disagree. I thought he looked very good in the first three or four games. He's been pretty bad in the last two games though.

I'm thrilled that the Reds are 14-12, but no matter how you want to slice it, the offense needs to be upgraded.
No... but you base your analysis solely on a lack of HR power by the others. That's not a very comprehensive analysis IMO. :

No, I was making an observation.

This guy on the banana phone should simply be shot in the head....multiple times.

I think he's trying to sound like Randy "macho man" Savage. Kinda sad. But then again, I feel kinda dirty admitting that I even know who that is.

A .618 OPS suggests he's been really bad since he came up. Zero power. He's been a ground ball machine. And lately he looks like he's been going to the Brandon Phillips school of swinging.

Like I said, he'll need to start earning some AB's. Becuase he giving the ones we give him away for free.

He went 5-for-9 with three walks in his first three games. Like I said, he was good through the first three games but has struggled in the last couple.

I gotta agree with OBM here. But this is kinda a silly argument considering the sample size involved. But if OPS is what you want to look at....His first 3 games, his OPS was sitting at 1.171, his last 3 (yes, we're talking 6 games TOTAL) he's gone 1 for 14 with no extra base hits. His last few games, he's swinging at HORRIBLE pitches WAAAAAY up in the zone. I think he's over-excited and has a case of the yips. Give him a few more weeks under his belt and see what we've got then.

One of the most inspiring "sports" moment's I witnessed was the The Macho Man vs Rowdy Roddy at the Cow Palace in 1988, Macho Man was the "Intercontinental Champion" and Roddy bloodied him mightily and kicked him out of the ring and stole his belt and when he held it up above his head 19 K stood up and screamed... it was electrifying and me and my hippie friends sat there and laughed.

As I said, he needs to sit some and learn that AB's have to be earned.
