    Phillips' last seven: 387 .441 .613 1.054

So, yeah, he's really struggled lately.

I like Rosales, but man has he been brutal at third base so far. He bobbled a double play ball in the first inning and now he commits a two out error that should have ended the inning.

Brandon Phillips does not need to hit 8th. That's absurd. The guy clearly isn't a 4 hitter, but seriously, eighth?

Sub .700 OPS vs RHP. I have no problem with him hitting 4th vs LHP but he doesn't belong in the top six vs RHP.

.688 lifetime vs. righties. That's the line of an 8th hitter.

Not even 7th on this team? 6th?

Arroyo's needed 39 pitches to get through 2 innings against this lineup.

Rosales committed a two out error which cost Arroyo quite a few pitches. If Rosales makes that play, the DBacks have their 8-9-1 hitters up next inning. Instead, they'll have the top of their order due up.

The good part is that he got through 2 innings.

Gotta give Hairston credit, despite the awful atbat in the 10th inning yesterday, he's been crushing the ball lately. Hopefully it continues.
