In regards to Willy not running earlier, did anybody watch Richard's move to first? He had like 3 or 4 different looks. Several of them were balks IMO, but he's pretty tough to get a read on.

Cueto gives up a leadoff single to Konerko.

Tough indeed. I was perplexed why he wasn't running earlier from 2nd, when that move was useless.

I was not all that upset at him not running from first. It was obvious he's tough to get a read on those moves. But those first few pitches from second, with Phillips on first and Konerko not holding him on, that was the time to go. Of course, they finally pulled the trigger so I have no complaints. Just FYI from the scouting end, Richard only used the slide step twice and both times it was on offspeed stuff. So the rest of this game, if I'm Cincinnati, I'm running this team to death.

Rosales looks like he's wearing 1864 style socks.

Lazy pop to short by Anderson for 1st out.

Line drive off of Hernandez glove (should have been caught)....Phillips gets the force at 2nd.

Anderson pops out to 3rd and Getz is out on a 3-4-6 FC as the ball pops out of Hernandez's glove, bounces off the runner is picked up by Phillips who throws to 2nd for the force out.

Yes. That was a heads-up play by Hernandez, Konerko and Phillips.

I just turned it over to MLB network. I assumed it would be blacked out locally but it is on.

Beckham with another lazy pop for out #3.

Cueto at 22 pitches through 2....after Podsednik takes him to 7 pitches for the 1st out. It's going to be a very long night for the Sox if they have no patience against Cueto.

Nice observation on the slide step Brutus, have to keep an eye on that one.

I'm watching. They are interviewing Dusty now. Talking about his responsibility to win, due to the problems Jackie Robinson had in Cincinnati. He said it better than I just wrote it.

Lot's of interviews in between innings, good stuff.

BTW: Brandon Phillips now has more walks than strikeouts again. He's one of currently only 15 players in all of Major League Baseball (qualified players) that can say that.
