Barker replaced by Bolivar. Sutton moves to 1st base, Bolivar takes 2nd.

Valaika with a nice play on a sharp line drive up the middle.

Who are those first 2 guys in the Louisville lineup? Sure look like the table setters the Reds need!

    Code:
Player	IP	H	R	ER	BB	SO	HR	ERA
    Bailey 6.0	5	1	1	1	8	1	2.74
    Pitches-strikes: Bailey, H 98-64 - 65%

Last strikeout was on the splitter.

We'll probably get to see one more IP out of Mr. Homer "F'n" Bailey. At 98 pitches after 6.

Bailey is back out there for the 7th inning. He gets a first pitch groundout to begin the 7th.

Felt compelled to to add a Jon and Kate Plus Eight update, because my wife keeps telling me about it, like I care:

They have a bunch of kids, and apparently are very kranky.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

Bailey retired the first two batters in the 7th inning and got ahead 0-2 on the #9 hitter, then gave up a single two pitches later and now a walk. He's at 114 pitches.

kate: hot or not hot? I say hot, but damn can you blame her for being kranky? I know I would if I had 8 kids to raise

They are really having homer throw a lot of pitches lately.

They knew the job was dangerous when they took it.

Bailey should have been pulled after giving up the 0-2 hit......why prolong it? unless he was going in the ninth and needed 1 out for the CG.

    Bailey: 7 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 8 K, 115 pitches

Homer allowed a lead off HR to begin the game and then threw shutout baseball after that. The other six hits were singles.
