    Scott Rolen is a super freak.
    Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand

    Rolen is the epitome of what a good ball player is. While we covet the Ecarnacions and Gonzalezes of the world, it's the Scot Rolens who play championship ball.

    I swear George Grande has a crush on Scott Rolen. I cannot wait until Grande is no longer an announcer for the Reds. His love for the Cardinals and anyone ever associated with them is too much. Why not go announce for St. Louis, George? Oh, they don't want you?

    Joey Votto is so good, you can only wait for the heartbreaking crash to reality. Josh Hamilton good. First week of Jay Bruce good. One night of Deion Sanders good.

    If Votto was an ex-Cardinal, George would have came up with something even better than that.

    Hey..

    I'm not a lumberjack, or a furtrader,
    and I don't live in an igloo, eat blubber, or own a dogsled,
    and I don't know Jimmy, Sally, or Susie from Canada,
    although I'm sure they're really really nice.

    I have a Prime Minister, not a President.
    I speak English and French, not American,
    and I pronounce it about, not aboot
    I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack;
    I believe in peacekeeping, not policing;
    and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal

    a tuque is a hat,
    a chesterfield is a couch,
    and it is pronounced zed, not zee, zed!

    Canada is the second largest land-mass,
    the first nation of hockey,
    and the best part of North America!

    MY NAME IS JOE(y Votto), AND I AM CANADIAN!

    Thank you.
