You know what's weird? I get the Cardinals feed when we play them and they just gave me Cardinals hype video featuring a throw a right field that nails #3 from the Colorado Rockies while the announcer says "He just threw out of the fastest players in baseball!"

That player is of course Willy Taveras, which just happened to him again last inning.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I stand corrected. He was #1 in Houston, but plays like #2 for the Redlegs.

Homer K's Brendan Ryan. That's his third strikeout.

Uh-oh, Hairston looks banged up. Nearly killed himself diving for a foul ball. He's staying in the game though.

The game plan: Tire Pujols out with ground ball so he will not have enough energy for his upcoming at-bat. Brilliant!

Seriously. 3 innings, 26 pitches. From now on, everyone on the team has to take the first two pitches.

Is Piniero looking to tryout for Boogie Nights 2 with that mustache? Wow that is awful.

Gave the Cards a five pitch inning there. (Bailey 2, CD 1, WT 2). Even I could have made Pinero throw nine pitches to strike me out three times...lol
