I think he's trying to be too perfect, since he knows he'll get very little if any run support for the second year in a row. He's pressing instead of relaxing and pitching.

    Too bad the Dodgers wouldn't.

    Yeah, I doubt that's it.

I think it has more to do with the fact that he's the 00's version of Kevin Tapani.

The replay looked like a pretty good pitch, actually. Now Votto's day is over.

I cannot wait until the day when balls/strikes are automatic (called by a computer of some sorts that is actually accurate). MLB umps are a joke (and that was actually a good call on Votto... but I'm just saying).

So would I, but then you'd have a hole in your rotation and Dusty would still play Taveras somewhere.

The only answer is better players and you have to spend money for that and it's apparent that this franchise will spend more money on less than any in baseball.

    Now Votto tossed. Game over.

Ya except that Harang strikeouts out almost 2 more per 9.

Seriously Joey? You choose THAT pitch to get thrown out? It wasn't even borderline IMO. There are so many more egregious calls that I see every game.

If it is the reason, then he probably shouldn't pitch in the majors.

Votto thought the pitch was inside. I thought the pitch was inside. Gameday thought the pitch was inside. The replay showed that the pitch was inside.

Now Votto is inside (the clubhouse).
