    Full disagreement. 100%.

    He got beat by an All-star and MVP candidate who fouled off a series of nasty pitches and then went with a good fastball at the knees on the corner for a homerun opposite field. There are maybe three players in baseball who can do that. Maybe.

    I am not seeing anything from Homer to be remotely upset about it in the first three innings.

    Homer really has no idea where the ball is going.
    Most guys aren't gonna blast an opposite field homer on a 98MPH fastball on the outer part of the plate. bit of an overreaction

    Welsh: "When Taveras and Hairston get on, they give you some speed."

    Or, conversely, they bunt directly back to the pitcher and/or get picked off.

    Boring.

    Willy T bunts one right back to Looper. Any idea on his % of success when he bunts for a hit? Low I am sure....

    The 6 base runners in 3 innings aren't even a small pebble in your sandals?

    Except for allowing a hit to Braden Looper.

    No. A few flares, a few close pitches. Unlike you, friend, I don't wig over normal innings like that from pitchers.

    It's so sad...It's Votto and BP and then 7 other guys on this team, offensively.

    While I don't expect miracles, I sure would like to see Stubbs & Heisey patrolling the OF for the next couple of weeks. At least give us something to enjoy watching.

    32% (Which is higher than I was expecting). His career average is about 47%.

    Hey..

    I'm not a lumberjack, or a furtrader,
    and I don't live in an igloo, eat blubber, or own a dogsled,
    and I don't know Jimmy, Sally, or Susie from Canada,
    although I'm sure they're really really nice.

    I have a Prime Minister, not a President.
    I speak English and French, not American,
    and I pronounce it about, not aboot
    I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack;
    I believe in peacekeeping, not policing;
    and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal

    a tuque is a hat,
    a chesterfield is a couch,
    and it is pronounced zed, not zee, zed!

    Canada is the second largest land-mass,
    the first nation of hockey,
    and the best part of North America!

    MY NAME IS JOE(y Votto), AND I AM CANADIAN!

    Thank you.

    Characterize Homer's performance however you'd like but don't characterize me as a biased reactionary.
