My guess is they dumped JHJ for nothing to clear $$ for the Rolen trade.

He's been on the wrong end of most deals, Ricciardi. Can't imagine him gaining a haul in a payroll-cutting move.

Hmmm, not sure why Rolen wouldn't waive his no trade when the Jays clearly want to dump him. Somebody trades for me says "hey, thumbody loves me."

i dont want Edwin in LF.. he throws side arm, you cant throw from the outfield sidearm!! His errors will be as bad as they were at 3rd!!

You have to give Bruce a chance. I understand where you're coming from, but you have to give Bruce at least one more full season. I don't like it, but the Reds are in no position to give up on a guy like Bruce that soon.

If this is true, I can't see Rolen turning down Walt. I just can't imagine it.

George Grande is going to be excited.

I agree but FCB is right, too, to keep insisting that only performance matters. Period.

not a whole lot of throws for LFers. It is where you take D as a bonus from that position, but bat comes first.

He looked like Brandon Larson from about May 15th on. He was promoted way too soon. But you're right, they're stuck for another year.
