Fastball called strike three REDS WIN
Fastball called strike three REDS WIN
Cedric 3/24/08It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...
Well that 9th inning took a few years off my life. Holy cow, I know a win is a win but can anything be easy with these guys?!!? LOL
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

That was a weird game. Even as the Cards were collecting the hits, there was never the feeling that they were going to bust it open. In fairness, for every at-em ball, there were about 3 dribblers for hits as well off Lehr. That 9th inning was nuts, but you could tell Holliday wasn't seeing the ball off Coco. For some reason, he looked lost in that AB.
We had 7 W's, they had 2. Lehr, despite the hits, walked only 1 in 6. We turned two infield DP's. For me, in some ways the story of the game was our missed opportunties. We could have closed that game out several times long before the end.
