    Bot 2nd: Cincinnati
    - P. Janish walked, B. Phillips scored, W. Balentien to third, R. Hanigan to second

    - H. Bailey singled to shallow right, W. Balentien and R. Hanigan scored, P. Janish to third

    - C. Dickerson singled to shallow right center, P. Janish scored, H. Bailey to second

I love it when things work out for our side.

I just tuned in, how come the Giants manager was tossed on Bailey's single? Close play at home or something?

Both Phillips and Rosales swing at the first pitch and make outs, and Balentin strikes out swinging. Six pitch inning for Lincecum....

Nice interview with the top two draftees. Gotta like Mike Leake. You can see the confidence/attitude. Boxberger, well, he looked a little scared.

I really like Jim Kelch; he does an excellent job, and seems to want to work when everyone else wants off.

BTW- Votto is going full Monty tonight- stirrups and sanitary hose. It's a great look, IMO.
    sorry we're boring

Just an observation.....but the Giants players look very comfortable up there, and are getting some big hacks against Homer.

Kinda reverse of what you would expect. Boxberger doesn't throw that hard, but he reaches 94 and is regarded as the "power" pitcher between the two, which usually instills confidence and a little cockiness. Of course, Leake knows how to be on the big stage.

Not really. When they guess fastball and get fastball, the hack looks good. But they're not squaring it up much at all. 1 EBH on a bad mistake so far, and no balls to the track.

I'm just judging on the 'from the heels' swings I've seen from Uribe, Rowand, Sandoval and Garko.
