Well, since Dusty Baker almost exclusively reserves the #2 spot for guys with sub-290OBPs (Gonzo, Janish, Taveras), they probably should be PH'd for in the 9th inning of every tight affair.

Well, since Dusty Baker almost exclusively reserves the #2 spot for guys with sub-290OBPs (Gonzo, Janish, Taveras), they probably should be PH'd for in the 9th inning of every tight affair.

I would argue they get PH for in the 1st myself.

Did anyone notice the odd way Barker showed the ball to the home plate ump after the catch on a few of the DP?. Another time he showed it to the 1b ump. I know guys often hold up their glove to show they caught it, but why he turned and showed it to the plate ump was odd. And he took the ball out of his glove and showed the ball in his throwing hand.

Yes, it was 1-0 game where the Reds had two soft, bloop hits.
