For those that didn't see, Dickerson drew a walk, then on a pickoff play, he took a long 2nd stride back to the bag instead of sliding and his left foot/ankle/achilles landed ackwardsly on the bag.

It looks like he rolled it, really really badly, though. He had to be carried off the field.

Jesus. Uncle. This team and its fans have suffered enough this year, Lord!

I'm not a doctor, but if I had to guess, we just lost Chris Dickerson for the year.

Dickerson singles, then jams his ankle into the bag getting back on a pickoff attempt and gets tagged out. He looks pretty bad, unable to put any weight on it as he is taken off the field.

    Janish then singles to CF.

    1 on, 1 out.

He almost hurt himself stealing 2nd with his violent headfirst slide...and now instead of sliding with his feet....which is something players just do not seem to know how to do anymore....he really gets hurt.

This is beyond stupid. Not calling CD that.....just how this happens and on a play that happens all the time to any player going back to first. You cannot overextend yourself like that.

Phillips grounds out 5-3 and looks like he hurt his wrist again on the swing.

I know these things happen in threes, but usually not this fast.

Good think Rolen is back, so he can anchor this lineup the rest of the season.

    Stubbs 8
    McDonald 9
    Votto 3
    Rolen 5
    Nix 7
    Sutton 4
    Hanigan 2
    Janish 6
