Rolen nailed at second as Rolen tries to advance on a ball in the dirt.

Re: 8/30/09 - Reds vs. Dodgers

Not a bad try by Rolen with the wild-ish pitch but he's out at second.

*sings* "This is the game that never ends...yes it goes on and on my friend."
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

on to the 12th on Rolen's CS. I imagine impatience was the culprit there. I would guess it's frustrating to bat on this team knowing there are really only a couple of players you can count on.

I would send Burton and Maloney down tomorrow, Ramirez and Cueto up. If Herrerra or Fisher pitch extensively in this game, I'd swap one of them for LeCure for a day or two. We are really going to need some bullpen help tomorrow.

We have a Juan Castro sighting as he steps in vs. CoCo. George remembering his great career with the Reds.

Isn't Cueto pitching the second game tomorrow?

Codero trying to walk Juan Freaking Castro. Sad.

Get behind on a hitter even of Castro's meager ability and you give up a double.

Like throwing gasoline on an open fire, Cordero is as usual.
