I'm sure it was. Tough situation, but there were still other alternatives.

I'd feel differently if tomorrow was an off day, or even a single game.

I'm no pitching coach but Coco seems to be shortarming the ball, not his usual fluid delivery.

Corky pin up Miller walks. Broxton is known for his wildness.

Homer on to pinch run for Miller, could be interesting.

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Drew Stubbs was a hero before at the end of a game....dare we hope he can do it again?

Wlad fans. Reds setting some kind of strikeout record today, and I don't mean their pitchers.

Frustrating game but you're going to lose at some point if you can't hit the ball.

Maybe Stubbs can do something. Last gasp.

Will Stubbs be K number 20?

    Edit: Yes

Twenty strike outs. I can't wait for this season to be over.

Re: 8/30/09 - Reds vs. Dodgers

I said it before and I feel like I need to say it again: I give the Reds a lot of credit for playing the Dodgers tough all weekend. Aside from one or two horrible innings yesterday, the Reds gave them a big battle in this series and that's not too bad at all. I'd much rather have the win but it's a small victory for this team to have given the Dodgers a hard time in this series.

Five outings in 6 games is tough.

This offense makes too many outs no matter what kind of outs they are.
