    Reminds me of another walk off wild pitch win against the Pirates in 1975 in the final game of the NL playoffs, after Bench had tied the game with a HR.

    Foster scored on that one to send the Reds to the World Series. And I think it was '72.

    I can actually say that this game was one of the more entertaining games I've attended at GABP. Sure, the attendance was LOW, real LOW (maybe a 100 fans total) - but the fans, like me, wanted to be there. There was only one concession stand open at the view level and a couple of ushers - the gift shop on that level was closed. No vendors (or at least I didn't see any - anywhere in the ballpark). I moved around in the view level because my season ticket (last seat, last row, 1st base side) was cold with the wind howling. But before I moved, in at my perch I could hear either Pittsburgh fans or the Pirates themselves giving the rookie pitcher encouragement and banter.
