Looks like a foul ball by the replay. Home plate umpire agrees.

Foul ball and with that ruling, Brandon hits a single up the middle.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Take THAT video reviewer. Single up the middle. 3 for 3 for Phillips. Nice.

Should have just given him the homer. Like a bank error in your favor card in Monopoly.

Wow, just saw this. Pettite working on an El Perfecto. 7 innings done.

Maholm settled down pretty well and it would be great to get him out of the game in this inning. It may be his last one anyway since he's over a hundred pitches now.

Edit: Oh gracious, don't let Pettite throw a freaking no hitter against the O's. They all ready had one thrown against them by a Red Sox guy. They don't need one against a Yankee too.

BP may be thinking about swiping third here.

Jerry Hairston Jr. blows the perfect game. Boots a grounder at third.
