Scoreless through four. Wells mowing them down. Strikes out the side. Has good movement tonight.

All the Reds pitchers have been better since they put this defensive infield together. Janish doesn't help the offense, but with Rolen and Janish in there the defense is really helping the Reds pitchers. Add Stubbs' defense in too.

Didn't Bob Apocolypse play for the Mets? I get him confused with Biff Pocoroba.

Wow, crazy game tonight. I hope they start making Jurrjens throw some pitches or else he'll go the whole game and we may not do anything.

Sutton walks after the first two batters are retired easily.

Wells walks the pitcher. Two on, one out. Second time he's done that. It's not Babe Ruth, Kip.

Wells fans McClouth looking. Two out.

Line drive to left ends the inning.

    Votto fortunate there.

Re: 9/5/09 - Reds vs. Braves

Walking a pitcher who is trying to bunt the runner over is never good. Wells has good stuff if he could ever get over the mental lapses he would be something.
