9 Ks for Cueto. Great start by Cueto today. 1-1 after 6.

Cueto with his ninth K, through six the game is 1-1. I don't expect we'll see any more Cueto today, but an excellent outing for him.

9k's and well over 100 pitches have to think that will be all for Cueto. Great start for him today.

Gomes is robbed on a great catch by Conrad.

Rosales lines out to short. 14 in a row retired by Hudson. 1-1 mid 7th.

Ball was smoked too, looked like it carried Conrad a few feet.

Longest...version...of God Bless America...ever. This woman is squeezing out every bit of the spotlight she possibly can. I think that went on for over 5 minutes.

Burton in to pitch and David Ross homers on the first pitch. 2-1 Braves.

Burton comes in with a splash. Ross smashes one. 2-1 Braves.

The Reds should already know that Ross can hit a fastball.

Didn't expect Reds to win today. Didn't expect Burton to preserve the tie.

And if somebody had to homer, glad it was Ross. Had some good moments with the Reds.

Wonder who will take Burton's spot in the Reds bullpen next year.

Burton has morphed into Gary Majewski before our eyes. He's toast and the sooner Dusty figures this out, the better.

Re: 9/6/09 - Reds vs. Braves

Burton is removed after a single. Dusty with a double switch.

Next year's pen will have Rhodes, Herrera, Massett, and Cordero. The other three spots are up for grabs.

Fisher might hang on as a multi inning guy. Owings may stay as a reliever. But with Weathers and Roenicke gone, there will be some new blood.
