Reminded me of the play where Stubbs tried to score on the short fly last night. Coaches had no business sending either player, but if it had worked...

gotta love that play from Corky. He sat on home plate and was willing to take a hit but he left nothing for Gonzalez

Nice! Votto catches a break and ends up at second. E? ... yes, single and an error.

Janish advances to third. (he singled by the way)

Re: 9/7/09 - Reds vs. Rockies

    Janish singles off Tulo's glove.
Votto singles, Janish to third and Votto advances to second.

2nd and 3rd with no outs.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Strange way the ball is bouncing in this park. Chris just mentioned the T word saying Denver helped him. Do tell.

    Ughhh.

BP lines out to 2nd and they turn two as Votto was off 2nd. 2 out, 1 on

Good grief. Votto caught napping which happens more and more lately.

Crud! Line drive right to the 2nd baseman to double up Votto.

2 down for Rolen (Janish still at third)

The 3rd was still a good inning from Bailey...pitch to contact and let the dust fall where it may. If he walked Helton it could have gotten ugly.

Indeed. No business running on that play.
