Another fly out to Darnell to end the inning.

Despite the tight zone, a nice outting by Homer today.

Rockie announcers stating that there is no way the Reds will risk running Homer out there for 120 pitches. Have these guys met Dusty at all. Homer at 97 pitches now I can see him easily going 115 pitches today the way he is going.

    Probably means 1 more inning.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

He came off looking really bad.
I somewhat agree, I guess I see the umps point of view more though...but overall I really enjoyed the whole interview.

Well Don came off looking contrite......and he was very respected as an umpire. Palermo was very classy. Bruce just looked like he was looking for a hot dog vendor.

Homer will at least start the 6th. Dusty might pull one of his brilliant "let him pitch to one hitter and then pull him" moves, but he will start the 6th and, like you say, get at least 112-115 pitches out of him.

Liked Votto's patience that AB, especially being down 0-2. Need to work Jimenez pitch count.

Reds fail to score after the Votto walk 3-1 Reds.

Phillips flies out, Rolen strikes out and Gomes gounds out, leaving Votto at first. 3-1 Reds in the middle of the 6th.

Any bets on Homer's final pitch count? Or how he'll do this inning?

Homer walks the first batter in the 6th. For the third time.

Homer cannot field. How many times have we seen that? Bad throw to first. and the official scorer rules it a hit and an error. What!? Homer out and Masset in. Wow. Long ball coming.

Homer throws the swing bunt into RF, at least the error gets Jimenez out of the game. 117 pitches for Homer.
