“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
The thing with Janish is that lately every hit he has is a double. There's no way he can sustain it, but while he's the double-machine...I'll just sit back and enjoy it. :O)
But yes, Stubbs is gonna be the real deal I think. As long as somebody keeps kicking him in the rear about being aggressive on those meatballs down the middle...he'll be fine. Despite the doubters...that power is legit.
Country Kepp grounds out to BP. 2 out.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
It's never easy with Cordero, is it. Coste with a 2 out single. (that was Blum that made the first out)
Aaron Boone sighting. :O)
Bringing up Aaron Boone!

Aaron Boone (with an ovation) flies out for the Reds win.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
And this one belongs to the Reds! 5-4 Redlegs! Dr. H gets the W!
He does. Flies out to Bruce

So am I correct that Oswalt does NOT have a win against us this year?!? I think he's now got four no decisions against the Reds which for our guys is a HUGE deal since he usually owns us. Maybe we're finally breaking that annoying streak! GO REDS!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Basically he can't hit a curveball yet. A very common issue for young players. The ones who overcome this become productive starting players. Those that don't have short careers and are role players. We'll see where Stubbs fits in. In his case he not only can't hit them, he can't lay off them either
