Uggla flies out to Gomes in foul ground. Pretty nice effort there from Jonny.

110 pitches for Homer. 70 strikes, 40 balls.

Hitting 96 on the gun now. He's been pretty consistant all game at around 94 or so. Ratcheting it up later in the game. Nice to see.

Who knew Bailey would be at the top of the rotation by this point in the season?

Great, he's pitched a good game. But let's not push him too much for once. 118 pitches is enough.

117 for Homer. I'd like Dusty to pull him here. Let him end it on a really high note there. Absolutely great outting there kid. He's been simply outstanding since his last callup.

Calero replaces Vandenhurk. Pretty good outting from him. Let's see what we can do off the Fish-pen.

Homer's due up third this inning. I'd say he's done.
    Wlad draws the leadoff walk.

I think of all the abuse Bailey has taken on this site since 2004.

The crickets sound pretty good right now.

Yep. Stubbs has taken his place rather nicely though. We don't leave empty voids here at RZ.

Corky sac bunted Wlad over to 2nd. Nix popped out on the first pitch for the 2nd out.

Stubbs lines out to left to end things.

    Homer's final line:

    7.0 ip / 3 hits / 0 runs / 2 bb / 8 k's / 117 pitches

Nick replaces him. Let's go bullpen! Slam the door shut!
