Ramirez grounds out to Francisco to end the threat. 1-1 it remains.

Hopefully somebody can take over PbP for a bit. I'll be back.

    I can make stuff up.

"Johnny Bench has activated himself for the game and just struck out.

Kind of a let down after all that.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

That's 7.0 ip for Bronson with 4 hits, 1 run, 1 bb and 5 punchouts. 101 pitches. Solid shot at the complete game I'd think. We know the pen could use a day off.

And thanks for the compliment. I was very happy the picture turned out so well. I was mainly worried about my part of the picture though since Joey usually looks good, LOL
Great picture, Heather. Get it made into an 8X10 and take it to the ball park for an autograph.

Wow, Juan looks pretty bad on the slow stuff & breaking pitches. Reallllly bad. K's on 4 pitches. #3 for the night.

*sigh* And now Bruce K's again (2nd of the night). 10th strikeout for Nolasco. That's completely unacceptable. Still under 90 pitches too.

They just have some weak swings....like they are not picking hum up well at all.

Also bothered me that Stubbs on 1st... 2 and 0 on Nix and he swings at a ball and then swings again when he could have let Stubbs steal very easily. What good is trying to get a running game going if you are not going to let him steal the base.

Ryan can hear Ramon Hernandez's footsteps creeping up behind him. :O)
