"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Oh my word, could Joey get to bat AGAIN?!

Should've been a double play ball there....but when the batter has freaking rockets attached to his cleats...Stubbs safe at first.
That's how you stop Votto....you get Janish out. No sixth ab for Joey. Durnit
Nope, Joey's hitting night should be over. Who comes out to pitch the ninth? I vote for Janish.

Totally random: I took that boat tour along the three rivers in Pittsburgh and it's a really nice tour of the city. I wish we could have seen a game at PNC but the Pirates were out of town.
Ramon Ramirez in to pitch.

Okay, make that 22 runs in 2 days minus the longball. You can blame it on "we're playing the Bucs" if you want to...but this team has been playing VERY good baseball for several weeks now. And against some good competition for the most part.
Two outs all ready. One more to go.

Quickly 2 down for Ramirez.
And this one belongs to the Reds! 12-2! Wowsers!
Game over and Reds win big again!
Joey Votto is a one man wrecking crew against the Pirates this week.

I adore that man. He always gives credit to everyone else before he'll answer any questions about himself. It's nice to see him smiling again!
