I've noticed but then again, I tend to notice anything and everything about Joey. : Too bad my fantasy team is done for the year or else I'd really be raking in some points, LOL

Can we please play the Pirates for the rest of the season?!

Slight delay for Stubbs to put on new pants, as he had a hole near his rear from his sliding in the last half inning.

This is not pie-in-the-sky. I really like what we've seen from this offense on the whole the past few weeks. I still would like to see an upgrade at shortstop, but beyond that, I really like this group as at least a good start heading into next year. Then perhaps if they stay in contention, they can make another move or two. In any event, it's not an 800 runs type of team, but it's not a bad group.

How did Milledge not catch that?
He didn't start moving with the ball off the bat. When the camera panned out to the outfield he was still standing still before he started running.

Btw...thanks Mem for the pbp. I've only got audio tonight. So the insight is appreciated. You can only get so much from Brantley. :O)

Oof, close pitch called a ball for a leadoff walk for the Pirates in the third.

I moved from Memphis to Baltimore on August 1. Hidden good thing in that move? Memphis was considered "reds country" and I was blacked out unless it was on FSN Ohio. Now, in Baltimore, I am good to go regardless of the feed.

    Much better this way.

    Much.

Bunt put down, Votto aggressively goes to 2nd, close play, runner called out, pitcher safe at first.

    Two outs, runner on first.

And the Cardinals may have clinched the Central by the time they come to town so who knows how many of their guys they'll be playing by that point. I like the schedule too.

Nice play to get the lead runner and that play at first was pretty close.

McCucheon doubles down the RF line, runner has to stop at 3d.

Two outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd. Milledge up.

The no hit dream dies after 2 2/3...

Have you gotten a look at the Orioles since you moved there? They have some good young players coming up right now and it wouldn't surprise me to see them make some noise in the AL East next year.
