An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
Just got here. Great to see all the hitting but Maloney's work is just as interesting and important to the future. Seems like the most effective he's been. Anything in particular he's doing that accounts for that?
Just really locating his pitches well. Mixing it up well too.
Hanigan HBP. Just grazed on the pant leg.
Maloney for leadoff!!! :O) 3 for 12 with a walk.
OK, now it's just getting ridiculous, LOL

Stubbs pops out with 2 on.
I guess with a 9 run lead it's okay to take your sure handed SS out of the game. Hmmm.
Awww, now Joey gets taken out of the game too. Why should I watch anymore!?!? LOL

Sutton ph'ing...singles up the middle. Bases jacked...hmmmm, who's coming up again?
Aaaarrrrggghhh! Barker Ph'ing for Vottomatic. Fire Baker! :O) just kidding.
Pretty DP there. Barker hits us out of the bases loaded chance. Shoot.
If Votto had come to the plate, the Astros were bound to walk him intentionally I'm sure. *grin*
Interesting to see how Maloney handles the seventh and possibly eighth inning.

BTW, I think Sutton is a factor for next year's bench. He's played quite well, switch hits, plays several positions. Pretty good pickup.
ROFL!
~edit~ At Heather...not the Sutton reference. I agree with that one. Thanks for the laugh H.
