I was thinking about watching the game until I saw who was playing CF.

I want to see how Homer pitches tonight and I also want to see if Joey stays on fire offensively this week at home. Jay has been hitting well too so hopefully the Reds can start off the homestand with a win. Go Reds!

I'm glad they interviewed Joey during Reds Live about being the NL Player of the Week. I was hoping they would do that and it was a pretty cool interview. My favorite part was him talking about how if he'd played well last week but they'd lost all their games that the award would have felt like a selfish award, so he's very happy to have played so well and helped the team win their games because that's the most important thing to him.

Poor Thom is all alone tonight due to Jeff Brantley being out sick. He said Marty would stop by and Jim Day & Jeff Pecoro would also stop by to help him out. This could be an entertaining evening, LOL

FYI: They're going to show part of the ceremony honoring Joey as the NL Player of the Week soon. I'm glad I tuned in to the first parts of the game tonight!

I hope Willy T goes out and gets on base 4 times and steals 10 bags (both ridiculous of course). Shine him up and ship him out!
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Did they not show the presentation for Joey?! That's a bummer.
