If Drew being off tonight means he plays for the rest of the week (including the games I'm going to this weekend), then I'm all for it because it means I won't be stuck watching Willy start anymore for the rest of the season.

I love seeing Jay going the other way. He's really feeling it when he's spraying the ball like that.

Looking a lot like what he unleashed against St. Louis back on July 3.

I agree, but Fay made it sound like Dickerson could be back anyday now.

This is not a bad thing either because Chris plays better than Willy too. I think *I* could play CF and bat better than Willy and I've never played baseball in my life, LOL

Well, I have played baseball and I also think you could play CF and bat better than Willy.

I know it's the thing to do, you know...bashing Willy...but he hasn't been horrible ALL season. He did have a very nice beginning to the season. After the first month and a half, Willy was hitting .322. He's more than made up for it though. *grin*

Back to back foul bunt K's by Pineiro. Heck, let 'em swing away. He obviously can't bunt. Maybe he'd get lucky.

Yeah, we're overdoing it a little, but it is so unnerving to look at the lineup and see his name when almost anyone is better. I also don't understand the lack of playing time for the hot hitting Gomes.

I think the thing that's most annoying is that he's hitting leadoff. I know we don't really have a "traditional" leadoff hitter, but just about anybody would be better in that role on this club.

Homer losing a bit of that sharpness. When Homer walks people he, more often than not, gets in trouble.

Homer's starting to nibble now. First walk of the night.
