They really ought to do WrestleMania 43 there in 2027. It will be the 40th anniversary of Hogan vs. Andre.

Parking lot has been used for many things, the illegal diesel Volkswagens were stored there for awhile, as well as cars waiting for chips during the chip shortage.

Mason HS marching band is in the Rose Bowl parade today for those of you watching. This is their second time in the parade. A big deal for the kids.

They now go by William Mason marching band.

Just saw them! Wasn’t a fan of their pink tie dye uniforms but the performance including flag corp was great

Did they change from Mason to William Mason?

Yep, saw them too. The uniforms were from their Bands of America Grand Nationals show and not their traditional black and green uniforms that the use for football halftimes. Kinda gaudy but designed for maximum visual wow in a big BOA show.

The high school has always been William Mason (named after the city founder) but was just Mason High School for the longest time. At one of the earliest band shows we went to announced the band as William Mason and my wife and I went wtf. In the band world, they always been known as William Mason. I guess it sounds more arty.
