Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Quick 1-2-3 first as Stubbs strikes out, Cabrera pops out and Votto strikes out swinging.

Mike Leake wishes he was making his first start against the Reds offense.
The entire Reds lineup this year, outside of Stubbs and Dickerson, has been totally pathetic at working opposing starters. They're giving up easy outs to opposing starters and rarely making pitchers labor to get through an inning or throw high-stress pitches.
If it doesn't change, this offense is going to continue to struggle.
