I mean is it really hard to ask for competent umpires? I'm not asking for perfection. I'm asking for umpires that don't anticipate things and make the right calls. That umpire assumed that Figgins was going to avoid the tag because of his pop up slide and he blew the call.

It seems that the West Coast Baseball Gods are still mad at the Reds. I have to wonder if back in the 70's, if Pete Rose stole an ancient Tiki doll from a cave when on West Coast trip.

I won't even listen to an argument that Phillips doesn't have the best range in the league.

I'm getting a tad frustrated. The Reds' offense is back in Cincinnati and we're losing ground in the division because of a team that's 15 games below .500.
