Great veteran play by Cabrera.

And a great young play by Janish

And another gift at 2B. Castro was in there.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Reds need some positive momentum about now. Maybe that play by Cabrera will help.
Now Janish with a good play and Lou is out complaining.
Reds need to pick things up and win this. Leake needs to come up big, he's been struggling.
Let's get it going, team.
Both plays were bang bang. Could have been called either way without much argument. Can't fault the umps on either one, even if they looked safe in super slow mo. And I'd be saying that if they went against the Reds too.
But the Reds did catch a break that they both were called out.

One on, no out, Janish in a position to pick up Votto with a hit.
Would love to see Stubbs do what Janish just did every now and then.
Janish looked closer to out than safe in super slo-mo as well......alas, we'll take it!
