Ismael Guillon was perfect through four innings but fell apart in the 5th. His final line: 4.2 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 6 K.

An RBI a game and a .368 batting average.... that Yorman kid can play some. I would love to see him come up and get a sniff of Dayton before he heads there again next year.

Pedro Villarreal opened the season as a starter in Dayton, and did well. He was then transferred to the bullpen, and did poorly. Now he's up with Lynchburg, made his second straight start, and looked sharp: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K. The Hillcats won, 7-0.

Dayton's 2-0 lead blew up in the seventh and eighth. Dragons lose 5-2.

Billings lost in ten, 5-4. Luca Panerati remained scoreless with three strong innings. Kevin Arico took the loss but didn't pitch badly.

I googled Billings from here and it took me right through Dayton...maybe next year.

Yasmani Grandal went 1-for-2 with two walks in his pro debut.

I have a video of Joseph pitching from tonight. How do I upload it, or can I even do that?

I've been reading these threads for a few years now and just wanted to say thanks to all of you who post updates on a regular basis. I learn something new every day. Great stuff.

With all of the emerging and established talent in the minor leagues (everyone from Torreyes to Chapman), this is most entertaining thread every night.

And, 104? I can't remember any other pitcher touching 104 on the gun. Amazing.

If Torreyes could hit a little he would be a decent prospect.

What kind of prospect is Luca Panerati? In six games split between AZL and Billings his numbers are: 11.2IP 3H 0R 0ER 2BB 14K.

Maybe he is someone different than I'm thinking but if he is who I think he is then he's been toiling away in rookie ball or less for quite some time now. Not a good sign. I thought he was signed with another Italian kid 3-4 years ago, Pizziconi maybe.
