I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

The Nats have gotten themselves into a bit of a pickle in the 3rd. The pitcher Garcia reached on a leadoff error. Then a base hit by Allen Craig has runners at 1st & 2nd with no outs... Jon Jay the batter and Pujols on deck.

And as I typed that, Pudge just had a throwing error to second... Garcia to third with no outs.

Agreed. Whatever your opinion on the playcall was, I don't see how in the least bit how you can take a swipe at Dusty for it.

    Nice HR Jay!!!

Dusty might be on to something with this Bruce thing at the top of the lineup.

Cards' take a 2-0 lead on a Jay single (almost the exact same time as the Bruce homer). Pujols up with two runners on and no outs.

I suggest we just focus on the Reds tonight. I don't see the Cards giving one away to the Nats again...
