    So, in their first 2 ABs per game vs SP, here are Heisey and Janish's combined numbers:

    18-125 (.144 avg)
    5 2B
    1 HR
    6 RBI

    Any theories on this ridiculous split?

    Incidentally, why is it that other guys with plus-plus speed understand the need to put the ball on the ground to leg out cheap hits, yet Stubbs continues to be mystified by the concept?
