Can't wait to hear the response when BP bats in the 1st inning. They should put one of those decibel meters on the screen.

Dusty knows the player attitude more than most. He knows that Phillips HAD to play after what he has said this year.

    Love it.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Why did we activate OC if he isn't starting?

Lefty on the mound for the Cardinals tonight, Jay will most likely play tomorrow.

My bad, had my Cards starters mixed up. Thought Garcia was going tomorrow and Wainwright today.

Was there an actual reason given? Considering he crushed lefties last week?

No, I was just giving my opinion. I guess Dusty figures with a Lefty going tonight it wouldn't hurt to give Jay one more day.

Tom & the creeper indicated that was the plan on Wednesday night during the broadcast. I don't know if it was speculation, but they mentioned it two different times which tells me that they probably heard it directly from either Dusty or Bruce.

I wonder if this is a sign that Janish is going to hold down the SS job thru the end of the year over OCab, or if Dusty's just giving OCab another day off, or perhaps Janish has done well vs Garcia.

Additional depth. Also, it allows Orlando to get into the flow of being an active player without being thrown in the deep end of the pool. Dusty likes to bring players back gradually.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Janish is 1 for 13 vs. the Cardinals this year.
    OCab a bit better 12 for 50.

Bruce is 1 for 7 against Garcia, FWIW.

    Why wouldn't he be?

Maloney was brought up and he's not starting.

Better still, why would you want OC starting?
