From Fay...he is saying the Reds should be concerned about Bruce, comparing to OCab. Not good.

I'm going to surmise that Gomes actually did injure Bruce during the walk off celebration.
Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand
God I hope not. Here was my post at the time:
If I can ask, why are you saying Gomes injured him? IIRC, the entire team was chasing him around and then Arroyo was going after him with a pie.
This wouls be quite the cover-up, since he was in the lineup the next game then got pulled late.
Let me say that at the moment OCab is pushing Stubbsley down in the lineup. I'm cool with this. HOWEVER, if Bruce comes back soon , and he goes down in the lineup because OC (along with BP) is up top, I will be furious. Furious.

I'll be heading to the park as soon as I can find a place to park this van.

I'm personally suspcious of the celebration myself, but is the subconscious hatred of Gomes so deep we are imagining him running around punching Jay in the gut?
The thing about the celebration is that Bruce worked so vigorously to stay away from everyone, I wondered then whether he'd get injured moving around so quickly, almost like a running back avoiding tacklers. Just my theory.
