Awesome day. Just looking for a 4-3 road trip, so 3 more will do me just fine.

Great game by Wood. That was a stopper/ace like performance. It couldn't have come at a better time.

Its not Reds related but according to the box score Ian Desmond just made his 30th and 31st errors of the season.

That was one of the most enjoyable games I've been to in a long time. I don't get to see the Reds in person that often with my crazy schedule and not being home that often, so getting to take time out of a weekend run to see them on the road was pretty nice. And then to see that kind of game was the icing on the cake. Dominating performance by a starter who also goes deep, and the first major league hit for a rookie, all that combined with the looks on the faces of the Cardinals fans sitting around me...Let's just say I enjoyed myself immensely.

Wow. And you didn't even mention Chapman.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Posting while I'm eating, and not proofreading. Chapman was definitely a highlight as well.

Thrilled the guys got the win today (just looking for the one win to prevent the sweep) and now I'm greedy and want the win tomorrow too. Go Reds!!

I just wanted to say I missed the whole game because I was taking a test, but reading the game thread was the next best thing to being there. Thanks to everyone for the lively conversation and commentary, and of course the PBP!

Just re-watched the game (went to my first ND game today). What a great win. I said just win one and I'll buy some champagne to store until we clinch! Feeling pretty good!
