I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

I'm going to miss Pedro Felix. He seemed like a nice guy. But when you cross Carpenter...

I hate complaining already.. Haven't been around the game threads this weekend. Has everyone else noticed how bad these zones have been for the Umps?

    Maybe I'm wrong.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Ryan slips and Rolen is safe. Somebody is going to get a lecture from Carpenter again.

I am thankful for the infield defense of the Cardinals.

Against Carpenter, you have to swing at that. Joey's probably right that it was inside, but guysnlike Carpenter get that call every time.

I think this game will come down to Homer. He needs to be on his game.

If he gets Reds through 6 innings tied or ahead, the deep Reds bullpen will bring it home.

You can't swing at something one inch from your arm. I'll take the MVP of the leagues eye anytime over another terrible umpire.

I had more of a problem with strike two on Votto. Looked high and outside to me.
