Mora lines a triple to center that gets past Stubbs.

Doesn't move and can't locate. That's not having good stuff.

He's extremely hittable. But that's just my two cents.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

    Location isn't stuff, it's location.

    His stuff is fine.

Stubbs didn't look phenomenal on that play. At least lay out if you are going to go for it.

I agree. Johnny will pitch one game and look like Bob Gibson and then has a blowup game like this.

Trouble is, when you start 3 runs in the hole against a pitcher who just struck out the side, it's extremely difficult to come back. It was probably stupid to start him tonight after being out a week, or nearly a week, anyway.

Of course I'm sure some will dispute that.

Nasty pitch there. Smith strikes out swinging. 3-0 Rockies after 1.

He ran really far to try to catch that ball, time he got it, the ball was already past him... If he laid it for it, there probably wasn't even a chance..

No harm on that... Just good effort and I'm not sure there is a CF in the league that would of been able to get to that ball.

How about playing it for a double?

Ball still goes to the wall... Not sure if Mora still makes it to 3rd or not...

But I think if Stubbs does play it for a double he would of been looked at for not playing hard...

He missed it by a step or two...

I know there aren't a lot of options with Bruce hurt, but i don't like these all righty lineups (except Votto) against tough righty pitchers. The percentages are with the pitcher batter after batter.

It's not important at all. Being on 3rd instead of 2nd with two outs is just not something to worry about.

Hernandez grounds out to short. 2 outs.
