That game reminds me of the South Park episode where Timmy and Jimmy fight.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

I am sure he is hurt he looked bad on every swing after the collision. They are down to Cairo in the OF if he is hurt.

Wins are wins at this point!

You know, we are still actually allowed to make waiver trades at this point, I believe. (Recall the Red Sox acquiring Stanton for the last series of the season a few years back). Couldn't put the player on the postseason roster, but at this point any OF help would come in handy.

Team is getting banged up down the stretch. Rolen's hammy is hurting, Heisey is in pain, and Bruce is out. The Reds might have to crawl across the finish line.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Heck, play Alonso out there and take your chances. It's not really a gold glove OF as it stands now anyway.

I would have had trouble sleeping if they blew that one.

Picked up a game with Prissy Carpenter taking a whuppin' by the Tomahawks.

What's the difference between that and getting Danny Dorn or Todd Frazier up here. Sure, they don't have any MLB experience, but they're not playing many MLB teams the next week or so...
