I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

This is the kind of interview that would normally be happening when the Reds are NOT in the playoff hunt. I don't understand adult cartoons. Get off my lawn!

Vintage Homer. 35 pitches of complete dominance, then put one on a tee.

It was a curve ball that broke 14" and ended up on the outside lower corner of the plate, that Snyder reached out and got the sweet spot of the bat on, and it carried just over the left field wall.

It was not on a tee, nor was it that bad of a pitch. He only threw the curve after Snyder fouled off several good fastballs.

Did Pittsburgh's #8 hitter hit the ball out of the ballpark? I could have sworn I just saw that.

Chris Snyder has power. He has 14 HRs in only 278 ABs this year. That would be about 30 HRs in a full time season.

Look at GameDay if you doubt what I said....

I have to agree, it looked like a pretty good pitch and a fluky swing to me as well
